Planning Consultant
This is an exciting opportunity for an accredited BREEAM assessor to join our consultancy, design and delivery team. The role includes managing planning applications for a range of property types, undertaking sustainability and feasibility reports and undertaking detailed analytical reports. Successful candidates will have proven experience in this role, HQM accreditation an advantage but not essential. This role will allow candidates to expand their planning knowledge and expertise through working on a number of varied projects.
You will be part of a small but vibrant team, working to improve environmental performance, through the design and installation of a broad range of renewable energy, energy efficiency and wider sustainability measures. The ideal candidate will hold some or all of the following skills / capabilities:
- BREEAM assessor accreditation
- HQM accreditation
- Low Carbon Consultant, ESOS Lead Assessor, ISO50001 Lead Auditor
- SBEM Calculations, Thermal Modelling (IES) and Overheating Analysis Reports
- Domestic and Non Domestic Energy Assessments
- Advanced Microsoft excel experience
- MCS accreditation experience
Applicants wishing to apply will be qualified to at least HNC or Degree Level ideally in planning or a similar discipline, with active membership to appropriate professional body, knowledge of applicable industry guides and regulations and demonstrable experience working for a consultancy in a similar capacity.
Experience of managing a range of planning and sustainability projects is extremely desirable. Knowledge or experience of ISO 9001 and 14001 also an advantage.
